We offer a highly professional and efficient boat transport service throughout the whole of the UK, Ireland and Europe. We can transport any boat up to 32 feet long (approx. 9.5m) with a maximum weight of 3 tonne.
WLS Boats is part of the “Wide Load Services” brand which was established in 2012 as an escort/pilot car company escorting abnormal loads throughout the U.K. This means we have almost 10 years’ experience in the transport industry. These transferable skills mean we are more than qualified to safely transport your boat.
We are fully insured from the moment we grab a rope on your boat to your boat being secure at its final destination and we have full experience of cranes, boat lifts, slips and tides.
We use reliable, heavy duty, well maintained 4 x 4 vehicles and custom-made boat trailers so we can cater for hull variations, rollers, pads, flat bottoms etc.
We hold an operator’s licence, so rest assured we will take great care of your boat. We go above and beyond to offer the best service possible when transporting your boat. We offer a full, free quotation service with no hidden fees. If you decide to use our transport service, we undertake several checks throughout the journey for your peace of mind. Upon arrival we perform a visual check of your boat to establish appropriate and safe winch points. We then adapt our custom trailer to suit your boat. Once all ok, we then load your boat via a crane/boat hoist or through our winch system. Once loaded we take photos of your boat to illustrate its secureness on our trailer and as another check. We then transport your boat to your destination. Once at its destination we slip off the boat using our winch system or appropriate crane/boat hoist.
